The MCB Time-Delay Test Equipment (Thermal Calibration Unit) is one of the most technically demanding stations on the MCB test line, responsible for the precision calibration of the bimetal strip's thermal trip time-delay characteristic. The equipment applies a DC high current within a controlled time to heat the bimetal strip and cause thermal tripping, measures the trip time, and uses an electric screwdriver to automatically adjust the screw according to the result, forming a 'energize-trip-time-measure-adjust screw' closed loop. The core TOTO offset algorithm makes the trip time converge rapidly, improving calibration efficiency by over 30%, while the accompanying cooling unit balances cycle time and flexibility.
The following are the core performance and configuration parameters of the equipment; actual indicators are subject to factory acceptance.
Parameter | Value |
Power source brand & model | TDK Lambda GEN10-240 |
Output type | DC |
Current range | 4 A - 240 A |
Maximum current tolerance | ±1% (measured current value) |
Timing accuracy | ±5 ms |
Calibration method | Electric screwdriver closed-loop adjustment + TOTO offset compensation |
Judgment method | Dual thresholds of qualified lower/upper limits; the software automatically calculates the mean for judgment |
Cooling time | 0 - 30 min adjustable (supports transport-mode bypass) |
Calibration efficiency improvement | ≥ 30% (compared with the traditional trial-and-error method) |
Applicable products | Bimetal-strip thermal-magnetic type MCB (mixed line of multiple rated currents / trip curves) |
Calibration algorithm | TOTO offset compensation, rapid convergence of trip time |
Defect diverting | Four channels: late trip / early trip / no current / pre-calibration failure |
Data traceability | Barcode-bound inspection data uploaded to MES |
Line integration | Supports flexible mixed-line production of multiple specifications, embedded in the overall line cycle time |
