The MCCB Delay Detection Unit is used for the high-current energization verification of the delayed trip characteristic of the bimetallic strip in molded case circuit breakers, and is the core unit with the longest process time and highest parallelism in the MCCB circuit breaker automatic inspection and assembly line. The equipment energizes phases A/B/C separately, using an electronic constant-current source with a maximum output of approximately 2000A, steplessly adjustable, and automatically compensates according to ambient temperature. With >=27 fixtures in upper and lower double layers operating in parallel plus a KUKA robot for loading/unloading to hide the 180s long process, the single-unit takt time is <15s per piece, and prolonged high current does not burn the contacts.
The following are the core performance and configuration parameters of the equipment; actual specifications are subject to factory acceptance.
Parameter Item | Parameter Value |
Inspection Fixtures | >= 27 sets (arranged in upper and lower layers, of which 15 sets support four-pole series calibration / single-phase) |
Maximum Output Current | 9 sets at 7.5In (approx. 2000 A); the rest at 4In (approx. 1000 A), steplessly adjustable |
Energization Time | 10 ~ 600 s settable, display accuracy 0.1 s (acceptance check 180 s) |
Current Response Time | <= 0.5 s |
Current Fluctuation | <= 1% |
Additional Waveform Distortion | <= 2% |
Loading/Unloading Method | KUKA six-axis robot, picks 3 pieces at a time |
Single-Unit Takt Time | < 15 s/piece |
Whole-Line Metrics | OEE > 90%; 8-hour output >= 1730 units; noise < 75 dB |
Applicable Products | 160A、250A、400A frame molded case circuit breakers (MCCB), three-pole / four-pole |
Tested Phases | Phases A/B/C energized separately; fourth pole of four-pole products as needed |
Defect Diversion | Four non-conforming product chutes divert by phase and force cooling |
Data Traceability | Barcode collector binds test data and connects to the client's MES; one-click model changeover |
